Privacy Policy

When you join the waitlist, we collect your name, email address, type of practice, your optional answer about managing clients, and the language you used on the site. Our hosting provider may also collect basic technical information, such as your browser type and pages visited, to keep the site running and secure.

We use your information to manage the waitlist, contact you about early access and updates, and understand what practitioners need so we can build Rootbook well. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

We use trusted service providers to host this site, store data, and send emails. They process your information only to provide those services to us. We may also share information if required by law.

We store your information with providers that use encryption and access controls, and we limit access to the people who need it to run Rootbook. No method of sending or storing data over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and ask our providers to do the same.

We keep waitlist information while the waitlist is open and for a reasonable time afterward, so we can contact you about early access. If you ask us to remove your information, we will delete it from the waitlist and stop contacting you.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@rootbook.page and we will take care of it. You can also stop receiving our emails at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each message.

Rootbook is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. If the changes matter to you, we will tell you here or by email.
